These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the speroprotectionclothing.com website and your purchase of products from Spero Protection Clothing Corporation, an Oregon corporation ("Spero," "we," "us," "our"), with mailing address 258 A ST, Suite 1, PMB #14, Ashland, OR 97520.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or place an order. We have kept this readable — if any part is unclear, email us at sa***@*********************ng.com and we will explain it in plain English.

1. Who Can Use Our Site

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from Spero or to submit any information through this site. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to place the order on your behalf.

2. About Our Products

What we make. Spero produces clothing and accessories lined with metallic silver fiber for shielding against radio-frequency (RF) electromagnetic radiation. Our shielding fabric is silver-fiber knit sourced from Suzhou TEK Silver Fiber Technology Co., Ltd. (Suzhou, China).

What our shielding claims mean. When we publish a shielding figure (for example, a decibel attenuation value at a given frequency, or a percentage of RF blocked), we are citing measured attenuation from independent laboratory testing of the specific fabric used. Shielding effectiveness in real-world use depends on garment fit, coverage area, condition, and proper care. Loose-fitting garments allow signal to enter through gaps; worn or improperly washed garments may have reduced effectiveness.

What our products are not. Spero products are personal-use shielding garments. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Statements regarding electromagnetic radiation exposure have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. If you have a medical condition that you believe is affected by electromagnetic radiation, consult a qualified medical professional.

Care matters. Silver fiber degrades rapidly when exposed to chlorine, fluoride, and certain other chemicals commonly found in tap water and standard laundry detergents. We provide detailed washing instructions for every product. Damage caused by improper washing, modification, or wear-and-tear is not covered under defect warranty.

3. Ordering, Pricing, and Payment

Order acceptance. When you place an order, you are making us an offer to buy. We accept your offer when we ship the order. Until then, we may decline an order for any reason, including:

• Pricing or product description errors
• Out-of-stock items
• Suspected fraudulent activity (including credit card fraud — see Section 8)
• Shipping address we cannot fulfill to

Pricing errors. Despite our best efforts, occasional pricing errors happen. If we discover a pricing error after you place an order but before we ship, we will contact you to confirm the corrected price or cancel and refund the order. You will not be charged the wrong price without your knowledge.

Payment. We accept payment through PayPal and Stripe (which processes most major credit cards). Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers — payment is handled by PCI-compliant third-party processors.

Taxes. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes (see our Returns & Shipping policy).

4. Shipping and Returns

Full shipping rates, return policy, and refund terms are detailed on our Returns & Shipping page, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In summary:

• 60-day return window from delivery date
• 15% restocking fee on standard returns; 0% on defective or wrong-item returns
• Defective items: full refund or replacement, no restocking fee, prepaid return label

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — product photography, product descriptions, blog articles, the Frankenskies documentary excerpts and stills, the Spero logo, and the original artwork on the site — is the property of Spero Protection Clothing and/or Matthew Landman, and is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark law.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use this content for commercial purposes without our written permission. You may share product photos and reviews on social media with attribution and a link back to our site.

6. User-Submitted Content (Reviews, Comments, Photos)

If you submit a product review, comment, testimonial, or photo to our site or social channels, you grant Spero a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use that content for marketing and promotional purposes, including on our website, in email campaigns, and on social media — with attribution to your first name and last initial only (for example, "Sarah M.") unless you authorize fuller attribution.

We have no obligation to publish submitted content, and we reserve the right to remove any submission for any reason, including content that is off-topic, abusive, contains personal attacks, or violates anyone's rights.

7. Site Use

You may use this site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, headless browsers) to access the site
• Attempt to interfere with the site's operation, security, or other users' access
• Submit fraudulent orders or use stolen payment information
• Use the site to send spam, viruses, or malicious code
• Resell our products without prior written authorization

8. Fraud Prevention and Order Refusal

We have experienced organized credit-card-testing activity ("carding") against our checkout. To protect our customers and our merchant accounts, we use a combination of automated fraud screening (such as Stripe Radar) and manual order review.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or refund any order at any time if we reasonably believe the order is fraudulent, including based on:

• Payment-method patterns associated with card testing
• Email-address patterns associated with bot-generated accounts
• Mismatches between billing and shipping information
• Velocity patterns (multiple orders in rapid succession from the same source)
• Any other reasonable indicator of fraud

If we cancel an order on these grounds, we will refund any payment captured. We may also block IP addresses, email domains, or other identifying patterns associated with confirmed fraud.

9. Force Majeure

Spero is not responsible for delays or failures to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including: pandemics, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, supply chain disruptions, tariff or trade-policy changes (relevant to our China-sourced shielding fabric), strikes, shipping-carrier delays, power outages, internet outages, or government actions.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Site provided "as is." This site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

Product effectiveness disclaimer. While we publish substantiated shielding figures from laboratory testing, individual results depend on garment fit, coverage, condition, environmental conditions, and proper care. We make no guarantee about specific health outcomes or specific reductions in personal EMF exposure.

Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Spero's total liability for any claim related to your use of this site or our products is limited to the purchase price you paid for the affected product(s). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.

State law. Some U.S. states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of certain damages. If you live in such a state, some of the above limitations may not apply to you, and you may have additional rights.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Spero, Matthew Landman, and our employees and agents harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the site or products, or your infringement of any third-party right.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

How we handle disputes. If you have an issue with an order, a product, or anything else, please contact us first at sa***@*********************ng.com. Most issues resolve quickly through direct conversation, and we want that opportunity before anything escalates.

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally within 30 days, the dispute will be handled as follows:

• For claims under $10,000: Either party may bring the claim in small-claims court in Jackson County, Oregon, or in your home jurisdiction's small-claims court
• For larger claims: Disputes will be resolved through mediation with a neutral mediator in Jackson County, Oregon. If mediation does not resolve the matter within 60 days, either party may proceed to litigation in the state or federal courts located in Jackson County, Oregon

You agree to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

13. Account Termination

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, cancel orders, or remove or edit content at our sole discretion, including (but not limited to) cases of fraud, abuse, chargeback abuse, threats or harassment of our team or other customers, or violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the date of the most recent change. Material changes will be announced via a notice on our homepage or by email to active customers. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Returns & Shipping Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and Spero regarding your use of this site and purchase of our products. They supersede any prior agreements or communications. If any part of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue in full force.
