This grounding mat is great for when you are on the computer or phone or near electronics like smart meters. Simply put your feet on the mat and plug the mat into your outlet. Test Your Three-Prong (U.S.) Wall Outlet
Simply insert the Outlet Tester into the outlet or power strip
If different lights illuminate, your outlet lacks proper grounding. Test other outlets.
